Overview
This role sits within the Strategic Remediation Control Office, which leads the Transformation and Remediation at Deutsche Bank. The US Transformation Office leads oversight of programs which contribute to the uplift of the Firm's capabilities across multiple lines of defense working in partnership with global Businesses, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Audit. The team ensures alignment of the portfolio of projects remains within groupwide strategic priorities and are successfully implemented to achieve the intended benefit and outcomes; Insights produced are critical to ensuring successful closure at the end of execution of project plans. Joining this team will give you the opportunity to be at the heart of the Bank's transformation, driving improvements front to back, building relationships with key stakeholders, delivering tangible value, and not only meeting regulatory expectations but also positioning the Firm for ongoing success. The purpose of this role is to improve operational efficiency across the Strategic Remediation and Control Office through enabling an effective service to support business and control objectives and supporting an efficient operating model and efficiently allocating resources, and ensuring the smooth running of the SRCO office are important objectives.

• Financial management, planning and forecasting. Identifying and executing on strategies to ensure we are within our plan
• People processes, working closely with Human Resources to ensure the hire to retire processes run smoothly and in line with the Human Resources (HR) calendar, to include things such as people reviews, compensation reviews, training, and development
• Control framework; responsible for all aspects of control within the Business. Examples include Business Continuity Management (BCM), Records management, information security, red flag tracking How You'll Lead
• Positively influencing diverse stakeholders without direct authority
• Managing upward communications to effectively escalate and inform decision-making
• Regularly report updates into senior leadership to cascade across their org as required Skills You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Working experience in the financial services industry, risk, control, audit, compliance, other regulatory remediation/quality assurance-type group, or a regulatory agency
• Ability to deliver results in environments that are nonlinear, fast-paced, and often characterized by incomplete information and stakeholder disagreements delivering a timely and comprehensive output
• Advanced stakeholder management skills, advanced problem-solving skills, and ability to discuss and face different points of view/ disagreements in a constructive manner
• Proficient knowledge/ experience of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project) Skills That Will Help You Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills across all levels along with ability to quickly adapt communication styles to different audiences
• Ability to identify risks and issues and escalate timely and effectively
• Proactively seeking opportunities for continuous development of personal capability
• Advanced skills in elective stakeholder management along with advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to discuss and face different points of view or disagreements in a constructive manner Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
